بركان نيراجونجو يقع في قلب منطقة البحيرات الكبرى في أفريقيا هذا البركان يعتبر من أخطر البراكين في العالم من حيث الثوران ، أخر ثوران لهذا البركان كان في عام 2002 ، لاهمية دراسة هذا البركان وخطورته قام فريق من العلماء موخراً بجوله استكشافية لبحيرة الحمم البركانية لنيراجونجو ، وأتوا لنا ببعض الصور وشريط الفيديو الخاص بالبركان .
